Today's study is from 2 Timothy 1:1-5.  The key verses for this chapter are verses 8-9. Join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.  He has saved us and called us to a holy life -- not because of anything we have done, but because of his own purpose and grace. Reflection: Are there people who have been sources of encouragement to you during a difficult time in your life?  Remember what they did, what they said, and the way they timed their involvement with you.  How did they encourage you? Welcome back to the blog for Wissinoming Bible Fellowship Church.  Each Thursday we will present to you a message from the past few years which has been put onto YouTube.  Today's message is by Pastor G. The Tuesday Ladies Bible Study has had quite a history.  Originally it was begun by Elder Joe Specht at the request of Pastor Justin Hunter as a mid-week Bible study for retired and/or older adults to come together for coffee, cake and study.  This group eventually encompassed all ages and continued for a little over three years with various members coming and going.  It consisted of both men and women and usually there were around 10 to 12 people present.  We all remember the week that one young lady said, "I want to be saved.  Can you explain to me what I need to do?"  God really worked in this group. But as with all things, time changed the makeup of the study.  Eventually there were only women attending.  The elders thought at this point it should turn into a ladies Bible study and Mrs. Kathy Specht agreed to be the leader. During the five years under her leadership the group has studied the books of Ruth, Esther, Daniel, Mark, Acts, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippia

Each Monday a group from our congregation goes to Pennypack Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center to have a worship service.  This has been going on for about two years now ever since the Pastor visited one of our members who is a resident there.  She asked why there couldn't be a Bible Fellowship service in the Center.  Pastor thought there might be some regulation against it, but the Activities Director thought that was a great idea.  And so it began. We have missed very few weeks with either the Pastor or Elder Joe giving the message.  Pastor has introduced the singing of a hymn at the beginning of the service which has been very well recieved.  Especially since he has a great singing voice and can carry a tune without a musical instrument being present. The group varies in size from 3 or 4 to as many as 10 people participating. Please pray for these men and women in the Center.  Their care varies in intensity.  Pray also for the people who take care of them each day.  It
